What’s Going on Week of 6/13-6/18 2016

Normal class this week, Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat. Thurs-Sat classes will be in the Secret Room!

This week, we’ll be working on kicks, moving basics, and sparring! Students who own sparring gear should ALWAYS have it packed and brought to class–this week is no exception.

SUMMER Donations: See the list below for items that should be brought for our summer donation drive! We found out that other community organizations have school supplies covered this year, so we’re working on hygiene supplies. Good time to clean out your UNUSED travel size/hotel samples for a good cause.

Rule Reminder: Be a good partner! If you’re distracted, not only are you risking your safety AND your partner’s safety, but you’re also not allowing your partner to make the most of a learning opportunity. Please respect others’ right to learn and practice by being a good partner! Good partners are focused, safe and controlled, but also allow learning by providing a good amount of resistance/speed/power.

Weekly Challenge: School’s out! Woo-hoo! Your weekly challenge is to get summer started by doing an extra chore or house project for your parents, grandparents, other family members, neighbors, or family friends.

Weather Cancellation Policy: If school gets cancelled in the Stanwood-Camano school district due to weather, NWSMA classes will also be cancelled. Cancellations will be posted on our Facebook & our Twitter. Not all of our students live in Stanwood-CamanoPlease don’t take risks to get to class if the weather is different where you are.

We welcome feedback on our website and our teaching! Feel free to email us if you have a comment or question.
