Rule Reminder: Martial artists should always want to look their best: neat, clean, and focused. Please tuck your t-shirt into your pants before class starts and tie your belt over the tucked-in shirt! (There’s also a safety component here–toes can catch extra fabric and get hurt).

Weekly Challenge: Kids: The adults in your life do A LOT for you. Please take a moment during the busy holidays to say “Thanks, Mom and Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie, Uncle,” for helping you get to class in a clean uniform, and for giving you a good meal after working up an appetite at karate class! Adults: Brighten someone’s day. Take a moment to strike up a conversation with a worker (cashier, clerk, cleaning person, etc) who looks stressed, exhausted, or otherwise down. It may make a huge difference to them to have someone notice that they’re having a bad day, week, month, season, etc.

Weather Cancellation Policy: If school gets cancelled in the Stanwood-Camano school district due to weather, NWSMA classes will also be cancelled. Cancellations will be posted on our Facebook & our Twitter. Not all of our students live in Stanwood-CamanoPlease don’t take risks to get to class if the weather is different where you are.

We welcome feedback on our website and our teaching! Feel free to email us if you have a comment or question.
