August 12-16 is Summer Camp!~! This year’s camp is the first time we’ll be opening it up to the public. Bring a friend! Check out the details & sign up in class.
Summer roadtrip to TMA! Tuesday, July 23rd, we will be making a visit to TMA Overlake for advanced class, which is 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Brown belts and above OR adults (18+) of any rank are invited! PLEASE sign up with Sensei YDN Caitlin so we make sure she has enough seats. Stanwood/Camano peeps, we’ll leave at 5 pm, and make a stop in Smokey Pt./Arlington to pick up our neighbors, departing hopefully by 5:30ish. Please have dinner before you get in the car OR bring dinner to eat on the way. I also recommend bringing a water bottle and a post-workout recovery snack.
Rule Reminder: Please make sure that long hair is tied back & secured off your face while training.
Weekly Challenge: Take 10 minutes every day this week to stretch. Find and focus on your needs–stretch muscles that are either always tight or muscles that are related to chronic pain.
Summer Bingo is in progress and several squares on the group board have already been crossed off! Get your own personal board in class and start playing. When you get an individual bingo, bring it in and we’ll let you lead 5-10 minutes of warmups that day. Get another bingo? Same thing!
When the class gets a bingo, the instructors will bring ice cream! Summer Bingo runs through August, so have fun in the sun and come to class!
When the weather is nice, please wear or bring shoes you can run in, as we sometimes go outside for a jog or warm-up games.
